The Challenge

Ho'ola Lahui Hawaii was on a mission to improve practice efficiency and increase collections. Like many practices, submitting proper claims was a challenge that threatened the revenue cycle results.

HLH struggled to find qualified labor and when considering the overall cost of in-house vs. outsourced medical billing, the benefits of outsourcing outweighed the challenges associated with managing an in-house team of medical billing experts.

Having a specific account manager who communicates with us regularly is really the key to making sure that everything runs smoothly.

Every company that we talked to had a good horse & pony show pitch and lots of promises on how they would help us, but Revele was actually realistic and said what they could and could not do, and what they actually offered. After that, we realized that Revele was a good fit for us.

The Solution

Ho'ola Lahui Hawaii was looking for an outsourced RCM firm that not only provided medical billing expertise but specialized in eClinicalWorks medical billing.

Today, Revele has helped Ho'ola Lahui Hawaii create efficiencies by developing a flexible revenue cycle management partnership that fits the needs of HLH's practice.

By partnering with Revele, HLH has been able to collect more revenue at a faster rate and explore new care delivery options like telemedicine. HLH has seen a 2% increase in quarter over quarter changes and continues to see an increase in both gross collections and claim productivity.

David Peters, CEO of Ho'ola Lahui Hawaii, says there are fewer headaches now that they've partnered with Revele. "No more waking up in the middle of the night which is a big relief," said David.
